Project Overview
All ProjectsCHE FAMO? is a cinema, music, and art showcase created to build an open and free cultural square in the heart of Rome. The project was born from a simple and recurring question during Roman summer nights: "What should we do?" The answer became a curated cultural programme offering high-quality, accessible content, particularly attractive to young audiences, while open to a broader public interested in innovative cultural experiences.
For one month, CHE FAMO? animated different spaces across the city with screenings, panels, concerts, and artistic performances, focusing on revealing the "backstage" of the Italian cultural industry.
Main activities included the opening event at Casa del Cinema with Cristina Comencini, Iaia Forte, and Edoardo Ferrario, followed by the national premiere of Just Charlie; thematic panels on culture and contemporary music; film screenings including Romanzo Criminale and Addio fottuti musi verdi; live concerts featuring emerging artists; and live painting and artistic performances.
Key partners were the Municipality of Rome, American University of Rome, Casa del Cinema and Circolo Arci Monk, and media partners MYmovies, Soundreef, Radio Kaos, and Wanted in Rome.
CHE FAMO? marked one of Quindici19's first large-scale urban cultural experiments, combining entertainment and critical reflection within a free and accessible format.
