Dietro l'Angolo
Project Overview
All ProjectsDietro l'Angolo was a cultural programme conceived by Associazione Culturale Quindici19 and implemented with the support of Fondazione Cariplo and Municipio 5 of Milan.
The project was created to support cultural and commercial operators in the Porta Romana district, enabling them to continue their activities safely while experimenting with new ways of experiencing culture in urban spaces.
The initiative was initially designed around Parco Ravizza, envisioned as a temporary cultural square where local organisations could connect, collaborate, and reflect on broader questions related to sustainable urban development. Due to weather conditions, all events were eventually hosted at Circolo Arci Bellezza, maintaining the collaborative and community-oriented spirit of the initiative.
The programme involved more than 10 local cultural organisations, contributing to a calendar of over 20 public events that reflected the diversity and vitality of the neighbourhood's cultural ecosystem.
The programme included live music concerts featuring local bands, book presentations and conversations with independent publishers, sports and wellness activities in public space, creative workshops and activities for children, theatre performances and acting workshops, panels and roundtables on culture and community, and participatory events such as the neighbourhood karaoke night.
